Our program consists of various therapeutic techniques that enable clients suffering from addiction to get to the root of their illness. Mostly anyone can stop drinking or using drugs for a short period, but staying stopped is the key. At Ambrosia we teach clients the skills to not only to stop drinking or drugging, but to change the way they think. We diagnose the problem(s) and implement a treatment plan, enabling clients to address underlying and core issues that contributed to their addiction in the first place. In addition, our program helps promote awareness and understanding about the disease of addiction. Through counseling and education, clients are taught coping skills that give them the tools to maintain a drug-free lifestyle.

Residences
Clients reside in a “garden style” complex with gorgeous views of the St. Lucie golf course. Condo’s are neatly appointed with fully equipped kitchens including a dishwasher and garbage disposal. Each unit is fully furnished with all the latest appliances including cable TV and washers/dryers. During free time clients can take advantage of the warm tropical temperature and swim or sunbathe at the Olympic size pool, workout in our fitness center, or play tennis on the tennis courts. Residences are monitored seven days per week, twenty-four hours a day by professional staff. Clients are taught lifeskills in that they are responsible to keep their living areas clean, cook their own food, shop (with a staff member) for their own food, learn to budget their food budget too.
